  This place is very nice for the price. The hot water does work. I'm on the 5th floor. I run the hot water in the sink and hot water in the shower for 6 minutes and it gets hot. You can sit down on a bench in the shower. Microwave and sandwich and soda machine in lobby. They sell White Castles in the sandwich machine 2 for $1.75. If you get a room with a shared bathroom it's $116.50 a week including taxes. There are 3 bathrooms on each floor. 2 with tiolets. 1 with shower. The bed is comfortable. I use my phone to entertain myself since there is no TV or Wifi. I have a table with 2 chairs. If a guest spends the night it cost $5. I could live here forever. I love it. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE!

  Not the prettiest of places to stay, very old building but fairly clean and cheap. Its a place to stay, not bad.

  Once again the Mark Twain has offered me secure and safe housing. While recovering from a botched hip replacement surgery and waiting for the other hip to be done along with cataract removal, I can also use this time for some credit repair. Transportation is right accross the street and the market is only a block away. A barbar shop and sandwich shops are only steps away. Security is around the clock and staff is always available for any other needs we might have. I cant handle a house or a full apt because of my enability to walk without the assistance of a walker or a wheelchair. Living on a aircraft carrier while in the Navy prepared me for living so close together and understanding diversity in this type of environment. I appreciate the Mark Twain for extending a helping hand in my time of need. Thank You.

  It's a good place to be while you're in transition between places. just be respectful to the staff while you're there. The most important is to keep yourself and you're room clean. The stores and restaurants is in walking distance so you save on gas. Don't have to worry about paying extra bills so you can save some money while you're there. It's a good place to be if you're in a tough spot until you're situation gets better. The laundry room is in the building so you can wash clothes. snack machines in the lobby if you need something to snack on late at night. The police department is next door and the metro link is less then a block. It's a perfect short term or long term spot. There is security on sight so if you need assistance the staff and security can help.
