The rooms were spacious. Location is great plenty of activities within walking distance. There were more than enough options for breakfast. Also plenty of room for parking $30 per night in front of $25 in the back lot. Only knock is the bathroom was a little small.

I love quirky, older hotels and don't mind staying in non-chains, but this hotel was nothing like what I saw in pictures. The location is great, but from the moment we walked in the door, we regretted going for the "fun, old hotel" vibe. It was snowing while we were in town and we had to park around the corner, which was fine, but when we entered the hotel, we immediately noticed there was a huge chunk of the ceiling missing in the lobby, the second set of entry doors had been removed and not replaced, and the first thing we saw upon entering was a giant trashcan collecting rain/snow water falling from the ceiling. When we got up to our room, many things were off about the place. 1. We were never able to get the room warm. Because of this, we didn't get to enjoy the most exciting feature of the room: the view. We had to leave the shutters pulled down and the curtains closed, which was a shame because it was snowing and beautiful outside. 2. There wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed, just a regular sheet wrapped around the mattress that kept slipping down throughout the night. 3. The tub in our room was spray painted as a cheap refinish, and the paint was cracking. We both woke up throughout the night because of the sheet moving around on the bed, and how cold the room was, so we finally woke up at 5 a.m. and decided to finish the drive home. I did not complain to staff because I heard several other people complaining and each one got the same response, "We're renovating this year, and soon we'll be a five-star experience." Unfortunately, I'm not staying at the hotel later this year. I was only staying for that night, and if the hotel remains anything like that, I wouldn't book a room there for my worst enemy. So disappointed this fun getaway turned into a really rough night of sleep.

The staff were very professional and the hotel is very fancy. We were a bit unhappy with our inability to adjust the temperature of the room (we just could not get it to cool off) but I'm not sure if that was a maintenance issue or hotel-wide. Otherwise, the room was very nice, large, and clean. It had mini-fridge, microwave, iron, and complimentary toiletries. A few details made us think the hotel may not be in its glory days any longer, and the continental breakfast was lacking. Parking will cost you $25/night and is outdoors (open parking lot with security cameras right next door to the hotel). Excellent location within walking distance of everything downtown.

The pictures are super nice online but not an accurate depiction of the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I wish I would've read the reviews before booking. The breakfast was not good at all, and they ran out of all the hot breakfast items - BOTH days we stayed. Parking was ridiculously expensive and difficult, all valet spaces were booked. The hotel itself needs serious maintenance, paint peeling on ceiling and walls, heating/AC system not functioning properly, our hotel bathroom was disgusting. The tile was covered with mildew as well as the shower curtain. I NEVER like to leave a bad review. I thought it was important for others to know that this hotel is not worth your money. I truly hope the staff has the help they need to provide much needed maintenance on the building.

Warning. You do not want to spend your vacation dealing with all the problems that you WILL encounter here. Take the time to read this before you book! This hotel is portrayed very nicely online, beware, it's a complete sham. The front desk told us at check in that guaranteed parking for the front lot was 30 dollars total for the entirety of our stay and then proceeded to charge us 30 dollars for each day of our stay without being able to give a straightforward explantion. When we got to our room the bed had a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet and the they didn't even bother to cover the 2 small box springs they were using for the king bed. The furniture is worn out and stained, far past anything that could be called "charming age". The bathtub is peeling and has a nonstop drip.. despite this I attempted a shower and ended up ankle deep in water. I tried to use the hair dryer and as soon as I plugged it in it was running, turns out it's broken-won't turn up higher or off. We went out a couple times each day and literally each time we came back to park there was NO GUARANTEED SPACE AVAILABLE. Turns out that the employees like to take those preferred spaces. I usually don't take the time to write a bad review but the experience here was so bad I couldn't let it go without warning others. Who is owning and operating this place? I would be embarrassed if I were you.
