  Beautiful trail system, I took an almost 3 mile hike which was accurately described as a moderate hike. The trails are very well marked, really hard to get lost. Some really beautiful spots to catch views of the Hudson River.

  A chance search on the internet of places of interest in the area, came up with this complete gem. So pleased to have visited and have become boring to friends by constantly recommending they go themselves! Our two guides were both knowledgeable and enthusiastic on their topic, and refreshingly young considering the subject matter and period the house belongs to. The website warns that you need to have the ability to climb stairs and the agility to be able to negotiate rocky, uneven terrain. They mean it! One of our group, an elderly lady with hip issues, really struggled.

  I attending a concert on the grounds. Mesmerizing music played with unusually shaped wind instruments by musicians strategically located all over the place. Unforgettable! Silvia

  This place is magical. I will say I was impressed at how small it was. Also, bummed that it wasn't very clear how or where to enter it get information. We went during what was listed as "open hours" and there wasn't a soul there. Bummed we couldn't go in. However, that doesn't take a anything away from the beauty of the property.
