Reminds me of an old timey gin joint from the 20s. There's a big band with real brass playing but not too loud. Bartenders make drinks to order. No pouring out of a premixed bottle. The entrance is easy to miss which kind of adds to the ambiance. Be prepared to wait for a drink.

I'm not one to frequent bars so take this with a grain of salt. I felt that there was something missing here. Seats were plush, music was fun, drinks were good and not watered down, but I had this feeling that asked "is that it?" with mixed drinks being ~13-24$ each its not inexpensive to go here. They have this stage that is awkwardly placed to side of the bar and there's a vip area that I can't help but wonder what it's for. Why not allow for a dance floor or have some live music to entertain. I suppose that turn-of-the-century aesthetic is a nice touch and lends some exclusivity to the place but that it. Bathroom looks like it was built at the turn of the century too.

All time favorite Whiskey Bar in Town! Speakeasy atmosphere combined with world-class cocktails. This bar offers a great variety of whiskeys from everywhere in the world. I usually go for the Local Edition cocktail ($13) - a homemade version of an old fashioned. Enjoy your cocktail while listing to jazzy tunes. Almost every night, a jazz live band performs on stage. No cover charge!

My friend recommended here for 'the best old fashion cocktail in town' and it was definitely good. Bartenders are kind and precise even if they are super busy. At the moment I visited here there was live music of gentle jazzy band. Need ID for the entrance.

Really stellar -- we went on a Wednesday evening when they had live music. I didn't get the name of the musical group, but they played a range but some songs stood as 60s era rock, which went really well with the entire vibe of the place. The walls are lined with old newspaper articles, typewriters, really neat stuff. The drinks themselves were tasty. My only complaint was they were a bit busy so it took a while to get drinks.
