Having read about the reopening of this landmark public food hall I made a point of stopping there on my way though town. The building is bright and airy with dozens of food purveyors from across the food spectrum. There is both fresh and prepared foods as well as other vendors that are slightly tangential to food. My wife had a “Thanksgiving Sandwich” from a roast turkey stand and I went full West Indian with a jerk fish sandwich on coco bread. Both were amazing! There is no street parking out front of the market but there are two inexpensive lots only a block away. This area of town can appear a little rough around the collar but we found it perfectly safe. As a precaution we avoided leaving any valuables in our car, but returned without incident. This is a great revitalization of a landmark marketplace and I hope the vision expands to the whole area!

The new market is nice and clean. Some of the same vendors and some new. The place is 35% full so far. I'm thinking good things about this place.

Loved the new market! The pizza and shrimp salad were great. All the employees I interacted with were very kind. Lots of seating. I loved the quotes on the steps and all the decor. I look forward to going back to try everything I didn’t try today! Great job!

Such a huge improvement in the new space. Bright, airy with lots of great food offerings. I especially like the grand stair which double up as riser seating. Can't wait for the outdoor seating area to be operational and all the vendors up and running.

Service was fast and prices were decent. Expected to be "wowed" by the cakes but just wasn't. They were good but just "regular" and I ordered several to get the full perspective. Lemon cake was the best, followed by red velvet and chocolate. I didn't care for the tiramisu at all and hated the Italian cake even more. My friend and I each took one bite only and then threw it away. As for the red velvet and chocolate, had the cakes been more moist, they could have worked. Pecan bar was pretty good! Overall, I'd give them another shot. I'd just order something different next time.
