Stopped in 3 times. Each time to ask questions and sit on a few different bikes. All three times they were very nice and no hard sell. Haven't bought my bike yet, but I will likely buy it here.

Two years ago, I had a pair of Shimano 105 pedals installed at this bike shop because I didn't have the tool required to do it myself. Super cheap and fast service. Fast forward to today when I tried to take them off.....couldn't do it. Took the bike down to a different bike shop (I moved across Brooklyn in those two years) and they were only able to get one pedal off. The mechanic at Larry's apparently didn't use grease when putting them on, which caused the pedals to seize in place. If I wanted to actually remove the other one, I'd have to cut them out. Also had a new Shimano Ultegra cassette installed here. It had a different ratio then the one it was replacing and the mechanic didn't bother to cut the chain down to required size. Took me a while to figure out why it wasn't shifting properly once I had the new cassette installed... Honestly -- for repairs, just invest in a nice mid-range toolkit and learn to do it yourself (Google knows all!!) You'll learn how to maintain your bike, and you won't have to worry about someone else messing up your equipment...

Came in with a tire needing a tube installed and they did it on the spot and the price was perfect. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Been coming here for over two years I believe. Friendly staff and they have a nice set up. They will tell you what's wrong with your bike and give good suggestions for equipment you may be interested and etc. Definitely worth checking out if you need repairs.

Great, reliable service. The owner even made sure I didn't pay extra for needless services, and called me with any adjustments to the price. It ended up being only $15. A steal! A true Brooklyn mom & pop shop with true experts (not hipsters)
