  Highly recommended. Had a very good experience. Hot water heater wasn't working so I called them and they kind of knew what was wrong after I explained the problem over the phone. They didn't charge trip charge. I called couple other places with great reviews on Google. All of them were interested in coming and charging a trip charge. None of them were interested in listening to the water heater problem. "Buzz" from Knauer arrived within an hour after I called. Fixed the hot water heater and the charge was very reasonable, one third of what others quoted. Has been 4 months since the service, no issue yet. Really really happy with Knauer plumbing service, reasonable rates, honest tech who won't over charge or try to over sell you. Highly recommended!

  UNETHICAL, OVERCHARGE: I asked for an estimate for unplugging my garbage disposal, and was told by answerer she couldn't do it because she had no idea what was wrong. When plumber arrived it took him about 2 minutes to unplug & then told me they had a standard cost of repairing any disposal of $140, the trip charge was $59, so I paid $200 for 2 minutes. Had the person answering the phone (who acted like she was the owner) told me of their standard charge I wouldn't have engaged them.

  I want to compliment Cheryl. I called with sort of oddball request for an unusual component I needed for a household project. She didn't flinch and went out of her way to help me find the perfect solution. No matter what your needs might be, I highly recommend this quality local business.

  Wonderful experience, honest helpful people. I had a water pressure issue with my shower. They were able to come out the same day and quickly identified the problem and made the necessary repairs. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

  I will start with: I did not use this company for service. I did, however, get an estimate from them. I am rating them 2 stars because the person who inspected didn't even look at anything closely. He just took my input and assumed I knew what I was talking about. Note: I am not a plumber so how would I know what is wrong. I had an issue with the hot water pressure to my kitchen sink and basement utility sink. The estimate said I would need the pipes leading to that to be replaced. They quoted me for 940 dollars total. Flash forward and I got a second opinion. Turns out the aerator was the issue on the utility sink. How do you not check the aerator if you are a plumber? That's the most common issue. Anyways, the work on the pipes still needs to be done, but I have a different professional coming in for half the cost now. I'm giving them 3 stars still, because the women on the phone were nice and I didn't get any work from them to know what kind of job they do. Always get multiple bids when hiring contractors. Don't always take the lowest bid, but definitely use logic in picking workers.
