  Too bad this wouldn't let you rate this without any stars!!! KeyBank is hugely deceiving. They will keep debit card transactions hidden from you being able to see pending charges online only to wait DAYS with a positive balance to blast you with all kinds of overdraft charges!!! My account was positive for 2 whole days! Wake up to see it's 200.00+ in the negative and the only reason for this is "it looks like everything had already posted before they could add the overdraft fees"... confusing to you? Yeah me too!! It's just a bank to take everyone for their money. Sad to see a company be so desperate. Had to wait a whole day and a half for the branch manager Crystal to "look into it" and to tell me there's nothing they can do! But she can send me a statement showing where the overdrafts were for! Why couldn't I see that ONLINE?!! Very suspicious if you ask me! Changing banks TODAY! I'D LOOK ELSEWHERE IF I WERE YOU!!

  Set this account up online and entered a promotion code. Misread the promotion and after the first direct deposit was $62 short of making the promotion, but met all other qualifications. Visited with bank manager in another location (when I came in to deposit money and check on my debit card, which they informed me with giggles that they were glad I came in because it didn't seem my debit card was EVER shipped), asked about promotion before setting up my direct deposit and didn't clarify anymore on it, thought I was okay. Still kept my direct deposit for my second job on my old bank account while I was in the process of moving bills over to this new account. Called the customer support line to ask a few questions since I was home sick with a back injury and they're super helpful, but they informed me I was no longer eligible for this promotion (still get paid multiple times before the end of the promotion on 1/1/18 but okay). Called a location to see where my "home" branch is since I wasn't able to select the location, it's selected for you when you start it online, and they informed me that if you close your account before the 6 months that you incur a $25 fee but it "could" be waived if the branch manager at your home branch ONLY chooses to waive it (No mention about it online when you're setting an account up, mentioned that and they seemed to not really care either, just kept stating it was their policy, but when I asked where to find it she didn't seem to have the answer). Said that it was up to the bank managers discretion at the home branch for anything, even if they were to allow the promotion with it being such a close margin. The customer service basically told me that I could go in and beg for the money, didn't use that word but that's what she was getting at, so I decided it wasn't the bank for me. I still have my old bank and the only reason I was switching after 10 years was because their lack of ATMs/branches here in Denver. Should have read the reviews here before starting an account instead of thinking one comment of them being "okay" from a friend and seeing they had what I thought was a great promotion was worth seeing an account up. When I went in to close the account they didn't care one bit about trying to keep you as a customer, just kept saying "we're so sorry" but didn't want to do anything to help the situation, there were other promotions going on that might have worked better for the situation maybe if we could have looked it up, or anything to that effect, but I'm cool with that, I do a lot of deposits between a full and 2 part time jobs and I can continue my business with my current bank even if it'll be less of a convince for me to use the ATMs or branch locations. I would suggest shopping your bank options before making hasty decisions. Thought they had a great deal, but all they had was lack luster customer service in their branch locations and no willingness to keep customers. Also the branch manager at this location "somehow" couldn't close my account right there so I should see it "disappear" from online banking withing a couple days. I'll be checking frequently to make sure, because I am not going to pay any fees for maintenance to the account in the event that they didn't cancel the account properly... Edit: I found out that they still haven't closed account and this will be the third time calling in about it too get it taken care of. Don't ever go to this bank. It is full of very irresponsible people who can't seem to follow through with what they say they'll do!!!!!

  The bank manager Crystal, was beyond rude. She needs training on how to be a professional. And remember she is there to help their customers.

  If i could give no stars I would. Branch manager Crystal is very very rude and very unprofessional. I’d take my business elsewhere.

  I unfortunately needed to go here quite a bit recently, and the tellers will give you weird looks if you have a big check to deposit and the managers are rarely of any help. The most helpful manager, Del, was promoted to some other office. Get the feeling that it's mostly newbies working here and tellers who wished they did literally anything else for a living. I'd recommend going with Schwab on 17th.
