  Nice hotel, great room. Missing some of the things I've had good experiences with other hotels at. Water in room is $5, sink was slow to drain, free internet is painfully slow. Room itself was very comfortable, place to sit and eat and watch TV on the new flat screens. Responsive temperature control and very easy to access parking.

  The service was incredible! The workers were so nice and helpful. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. It is definitely a high-end hotel with many things to offer. The bars have many options for all kinds of drinkers, and the drinks are good. The only bad part of the area is the parking, which is confusing and hard to find in relationship to the hotel. If you want to go here, you absolutely have to look up the location of the parking lot first. Other than that, everything was perfect!

  Hotel commons, halls and bar area were neat and tidy. Staff was smiling, pleasant and willing to assist you. Check in and out was super fast on the app, just needed to stop long enough to pick up the room keys. Proximity was close to everything. Easily reached by foot or vehicle.

  We stayed for the weekend for our visit at Comicon, and loved the hotel. I've stayed here before and the rooms are always clean, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant was short-staffed, so the wait was long, and my food came out wrong, but the manager was our waiter and was so awesome, I would go back just for him. I'm not a huge fan of their new elevator system; it seemed to create a traffic jam. We ended up taking the stairs to the second floor instead of waiting. I would love to stay here again

  I was only going to say something like "this was an awesome room for the price". I was in a convention block, so it was already a good price. The hotel I looked at nearby was some $50 more. I paid cash up front (to control my spending at the convention). Then I got a phone call as I was getting ready for bed. A family emergency. I went to the desk in the morning to tell them my situation. I wasn't expecting much of a response. I was wrong. Everyone I spoke to was incredible. "I'm so sorry to hear that" "Of course you can check out with a refund for the unused night" "Go to your convention as long as you like" "We'll set you up for late checkout if you like" I didn't stay long at the convention that day, but when I got back to my room to gather my things, there was a sympathy card and box of chocolates on my luggage. Stunned Amazed Do they really have a stash of greeting cards behind the desk? Marriott has gained a loyal customer. I wish I could have finished my stay, but family comes first. I will definitely recommend Marriott Downtown to anyone. Here's hoping I can come back soon. Thank you for caring enough to read through all this.
