  I miss ilkb it had the best trainers that i miss and who kept me motivated to keep going and push hard to my limit and to never give up they are amazing and awsome if i ever had a chance to go back i would its the best place to feel great about yourself and feel accomplished everyday and the great vibes just walking in the place with the trainers and people ilkb aurora we miss and love ya lots

  Is this a good workout? Yes. Are the instructors friendly? Yes. Do they adhere to their own contract? NO! That is my issue. Once they get you in the door with the inexpensive 3 or 5 classes with gloves - they will ask you to join right after your first visit and 'buy back' your introductory package. Unlimited classes is around $1600+. I purchased the 5 class with free gloves introduction to the studio. After I attended my first class on March 23, 2018. I wasn’t sure if I could make it worth while for unlimited classes. I stressed to the instructor at that time, that only the 7:45am class was of any interest to myself. I do not work a typical 9-5 job and have a child in competitive sports. Any evenings and weekends were out of the question. She mentioned that I had until the end of business to get the $100.00 off the sign up fee. I did, indeed, come back and sign up. I gave $900 in cash and agreed to $353.00 on my VISA. I only purchased the 65 class card for the discounted $1320.00. Later that evening, I was called and told that I needed to pay the ‘sign up’ fee and bring the total on my VISA to $420.00. I agreed. I attended 3 classes before I had a death in the family and had to attend to those affairs. Just as I was going to go back to classes, via Facebook (and only Facebook) the establishment stated that the 7:45am class would be canceled. I immediately commented on that post that this would not work for me. (That post has since been deleted by ILKB) Melinda called and told me that I'd have to send an email to inquire about canceling. My initial email went out on 4/26/2018 at 1:30pm. In that email I mentioned that the contract said I could cancel, but pay a fee of $195.00. After hearing nothing for over a week, I emailed again on 5/4/201 at 3:19pm asking for an update or some type of response. I indeed received a response the following Monday, May 7, 2018 from the manager Jess stating that, “…no where in the contract does it say that we refund money back.” Oh, how incorrect they are! There are 2 places on the contract that state the cancellation terms. Once on the front page. On that section it states, “If the Buyer chooses to cancel their agreement early…a cancellation notice must have been received 30 days prior to the cancellation date, and the Studio must have received a one time cancellation fee of $195.00" Being that I paid for the year IN FULL, I definitely fit this criteria. On the 2nd page – “Section 13 Cancellation – To cancel this agreement pursuant to any such right contained in the agreement, the Member shall notify the School of cancellation in writing, by certified mail return receipt requested. Any money to be refunded upon cancellation of the agreement shall be paid by the School within 45 days of the receipt of the notice of cancellation…” That certified letter was sent on 5/8/18 and I did receive confirmation of receipt. I gave 2 weeks for response and have heard nothing. Should this place adhere to the contracted agreement and refund me what is owed, I will update my review to discuss just the class experience. As for now, I'd say to make sure you pay with your credit card, as they will fight for you. Since most of mine is cash, I have to seek other means.

  I love all the trainers here. You hate them sometimes, but that really happens when they push you. They know that you can handle more than you think and want you to do your best so you can see the best results. Also, kicking and punching bags is a nice relief that you can’t really do to someone when they piss you off. Lmao

  I've only been there once and couldn't hang. But my wife goes 3x a week and loves it. Great instructors and a high energy environment.

  So much fun, no pressure. Everyone from every fitness level can participate. Friendly competitions to keep you motivated. Down 25# since November, and still falling. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!
