  Incredible. The best salon in D.C. I've been with my stylist, Ciera, since moving to the area and she worked at Bang. She's so talented that when she moved, I went with her--despite living in SW. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They're good listeners and sometimes better at figuring out your style than you are. It's the only place where I've walked in with a picture and walked out looking like the picture or even better! I've also seen their makeup work over the years and they're just so good at creating whatever look you need. I honestly can't recommend them enough.

  I came into this salon from being out of town and I have never felt more welcome! This salon has a great feel to it and is very inviting with a fabulous atmosphere. My hair was a hot mess and Irma Wheeler had me walking out of her salon like a brand new person!! She did an amazing job!!! I highly recommend this salon and will be making this the place my new hair home. I will be telling everyone I know about this!! You need a great hair salon this is the place!!

  A William Brown haircut and color is one of the most luxurious things in the world. I love this shop. Makeup consultation is great too.

  I have been coming to see William for more than 10 YEARS. His results are always stellar. I live in LA now, but I'm back for a visit and immediately booked an appointment at Illusions. Whatever direction I want to go in with my hair (and I've gone in many--short, long, dark, silvery blonde) he makes it happen. LOVE this salon. Relaxed, friendly vibe, complimentary beverages, AND Yvette offers to give your makeup a touch up for an "after" picture, if you'd like (yes yes yes).

  Illusions of Georgetown is a fantastic Salon. The talented staff (Amanda is my stylist) and their personal attention to customers sets this salon apart from others I've been to. They do men's and women's hair; and you can come in with a style in mind, or simply tell them, "my head is your canvas!" and they'll make sure you walk out looking and feeling gorgeous. Illusions should be your first choice when you're looking for a "home base" salon!
