  I am sorry to only have a bad review but I was REALLY disappointed with this location (DuPont Circle). I always go to Drybar and even recommend my friends go to Drybar (in Bethesda! They are amazing all around! Favorite location!) but yesterday 29 Apr 2018, I felt so disappointed in the customer service and the quality work. Although everyone there may not be bad, but there are bad definitely seeds there. Once I walked it, there’s no one at the desk to check me and three other people in. We waited wayyy longer than what we should have. Second, there was a lady to check out and her wait time standing there for her hair dresser or some to come check her out was ridiculously long. No one is at the front desk nor did the hair dressers that saw her standing there waiting try to help her. Lastly, although the young lady who was my hair dresser may have been nice in the beginning she was very inexperienced o doing curly and frizzy hair. When she washed my hair, it was rough, detangling was rough, and blowing out my hair took way too long! Having curly hair means I need product on my hair in order to smoothly comb through! She was very inexperienced after enduring the pain of her yanking and pulling at my hair I said “I’m sorry, I have to go.” I was going to be late for the event I had to go to. She stormed of with an attitude and even left the clips in my hair. I am very disappointed with this location. There no diversity in this location and it’s obvious this the attitude and unprofessionalism. THIS location is the location where I’ve had my WORST and now my last experience. I am truly disappointed in the lack of quality workers, environment, experience, customer service that is here and shocked that these kind of bad things came from a Drybar location. I really did not want to write this review but I’m still in shock.

  Renee is great. Don’t believe the reviews, and yes..: the music is loud, it’s supposed to feel clubby and fun.

  A fun experience, but a little bit disorganized. We have an appointment for three of us to go in and when we got there they seemed confused by that.

  Nathalie has sweet smile, a gentle touch with her tools and had me looking and feeling fabulous! Typically, my longish, thickish, mixed race hair takes a while to dry and style. Not with Nathalie, I was giving hugs and marveling in it an hour later. The products have a floral tint, hardly any chemical-ly like heaviness and you smell fresh like the flower Nathalie helped blossomed me into. ⚘⚘⚘ Very happy I called them for an appointment! Ask for Nathalie in Dupont Circle for your blossoming session soon! Spring is here!

  I visited the Penn Quarter location for the first time for a blowout. I was hesitant because I have extremely thick shoulder length hair that is somewhat hard to manage. I’ve been desperate to find a stylist that can give me the perfect blowout. I am pretty picky about my hair. I was matched with Lucky Marquez, and I am so thankful. Lucky Marquez took the time to ask questions about my preferences. He was very informational about different ways of styling and taking care of my hair. His warm disposition and his impressive professionalism made me feel as if I have been a client for years. I left with sleek and bouncy curls. I have received so many compliments. He provided me with the best blow out that I have ever had. Two weeks later I was still just as impressed with it as when I first left the salon. I am so happy that I have found the perfect stylist. FYI- he works at both the Penn Quarter and Dupont Circle locations. He performs magic! My overall experience was OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend Lucky Marquez.
