Hollenbeck park has it's unique places. Like children's playground, theirs all type of work out machines available, as well as jogging and or if you feel like walking, cycling it's there. And most of the time there's food and snack vendors... close the Santa Ana freeway... And the park has restrooms..... A man made lake with walk pass through bridge's to cross them. Kiosks and lots of geese and ducks fill the lake it has little hills. And lots of trees . Pick Nick tables. Lot of family have birthdays and wedding pictures. A very nice park to visit. Soon I will be posting pictutes....

Very nice park during the day! Best kiddie park - spacious and lots to climb on. Nice walking path. Best thing are the ducks -- little ones love feeding them. Only con is not a nice place to go to after dark.

Took the dogs for a walk there. Great place to go for the dogs and ourselves. Dogs should be in a leash, lots of neat distractions. Nice park, picnic benches, great for lunch outdoors.

The new kids' playground area is pretty nice. It's the closest place to where we live (Downtown) to find swings. The water in the lake seems rather stagnant and smells funny most of the time but it's also the closest place to where we live to find ducks and geese. There is public fitness equipment around. Unlike the Arts District park there are restrooms, also unlike the Arts District park, you will often find transients here but that honestly does not bother me that much as unlike Arts District park, this place is not overrun with dogs pooping everywhere while running around off leash.
