This beautiful park is home to many, many events and concerts. A large grassy area that goes from the SW to NE, there are walking paths, small bridges and more. A great place to just sit back and relax - even though you're deep in the city - you can loose yourself in the serenity. For concerts, parking can get pretty rough. I suggest you look for street parking first, which can be down some fairly sketchy side roads. Security for concerts is good, with plenty of restroom facilities and a large space dedicated to merch. The sound is good, just know it can get pretty chilly at night!

Very nice grassy open space with plenty of concrete walkways and some welcome elevation changes just north of Chinatown. 4/22/18, went to the Renegade Craft fair. Over 100 booths with hand crafted clothing, leather goods, candles and jewelery. All very high quality.

What a beautiful hidden treasures right in the hear if downtown la! A larger open expanse nustled right next to China Town and open to the public daily. The. Lawns are meticulously kept and the park tedously clean. A perfect place to bring some bikes, kids and dogs. I was there for a craft fair and couldn't imagine a more exquisite venue for expertly hand crafted goods.

This park is beautiful and clean. There's a spectacular view of downtown. Bathrooms are easily accessible and immaculate (as far as public restrooms go). It's $2 an hour to park in the lot, but there's also ample free parking just outside the lot. Dogs on leashes are allowed.
