  Can't say enough good things about the team at Hertz E 64th St. They always go above and beyond to make sure I'm in and out as quickly as possible. I've also gotten upgraded on a number of occasions, which is always a nice surprise! My car is often ready even before I arrive. All around great service!

  Auch hier wurde versucht uns zu betrügen. Vorher beim ADAC gebucht und bezahlt. Beim abholen wurde nichts zusätzlich gebucht. Der Mitarbeiter packte die Rechnung in einen Umschlag und wünschte gute Fahrt. Stellten im Nachhinein fest das 1000$ zusätzlich gebucht wurden. Beim ADAC beschwert und die haben es gerade gebogen. ABER DER ÄRGER.

  Great service, the manager caught a system error after I had rented the car via the website, I thought it was costing me a lot more than expected, turned out the manager ended up saving me $300+ dollars. Very kind, curtious, and accommodating everyone who worked at this Hertz. I highly recommend Hertz East 64th Street in Manhattan (especially compared to other locations in Manhattan, where the employees can can be rude, nasty, and not caring at all). Thanks again Hertz East 64th Street!!...I would have given 5 stars if the full-size I rented was on-site/in-stock, but it was a busy Holiday weekend so they did the best they could and upgraded me at no additional cost.

  Alert! This Hertz location manipulates the gas sensors of cars, so they can charge you extra when you return your car 'without' a full tank, though you fuel the car one minute ago and ensure the gas is full. I rented cars three times from this location, but decided not to go there any longer. Every time before car return, I fueled the full tank (till gas nozzle stopped automatically). However, every time these cars' dashboard showed the gas level dropped dramatically after fueling, e.g. a 1/8 drop with only a 5-mile drive. Please note I tried different gas stations, so it should be this Hertz location's fault. They probably use this trick to charge you extra when you return the car.
