Passed through Nashville on a whim and wanted to get a simple addition to my ribcage. Just one line. A silhouette of the mountain range that’s on Colorado license plates. No shading. No extra lines. About 3 inches long and a 1/4 inch thick line (if that). Quoted me $175, which I find absurd. The tattoo I have in the same spot (I wanted this new tattoo hovering above it) cost $75 AND it’s calligraphy. Way more complex than a line design. The shop is really nice and the staff seemed super super friendly. But for me, when it came to price, it wasn’t worth it. You’re paying for the convenience and the fact that you’d be getting a tattoo in Nashville. Bottom line — this isn’t the shop you’re looking for if you’re hunting for the best price.

I had Jon and my sister has Louis. We HIGHLY recommend either of them. They both did amazing work, made great conversation and made it fun. We came as a walk-in and they made us feel welcomed and worked with us to make the tattoos perfect. The atmosphere and location are great. You get what you pay for so don’t come here expecting a cheap priced tattoo- they do great work for a reasonable price for what you’re getting.

I hate giving negative reviews and I normally just don't do them (if you don't have anything nice to say...blah blah) but I wanted to share this experience. I stopped in this past weekend as a walk- in; I live in Nashville and I had a friend in town who wanted to get her first tattoo and I figured I would get a small tattoo as well, cause why not? The shop has a cool vibe and we were immediately greeted by someone at reception. I do not believe he was a tattoo artist (not listed on the website as one who works there, but hey who knows, could be a guest artist). I told him I wanted to get a one letter tattoo about an inch by inch size. He quoted me $150-200 showed me some fonts from the computer and I was just eh about it. I thought the price was a little steep but I’m sure it is a shop minimum and I’m never one to argue about a price in a tattoo shop. Fact of the matter, I’ve been tattooed at shops owned by very prominent artists with larger pieces for more reasonable prices for the size to cost ratio. This was an on the whim tattoo and I wasn’t even sure I wanted it, so I passed. My friend needed to get something sketched up. She explained her design gave a quick sketch of what she was thinking and he flat out told her it wouldn’t work. He didn’t try to work with her or even sketch anything. I understand some things don’t work as a tattoo but this was not a crazy design, I just don’t think he understood her vision, actually I just don’t think he liked her design. He tried to push her towards a very simple design, and she was willing to compromise but he didn’t even work with her on a simpler design, she said she wanted clean straight geometric lines and he kept showing her swirly lined references. She was going to just do it but I suggested she just take a second to think about it because it’s her first tattoo, it wasn’t the design she walked in wanting, and I didn’t want her to get wrapped up in feeling like she had to get it because she was amped up and we were in the shop. The guy was not happy that I suggested she think about it was actually rude about it. I am not sorry I wanted my friend to think about putting something permanently on her body for the first time. She decided not to get it, and thanked me for the rest of the day. I can’t speak to the actual art they produce, just the experience we had. I think they cater to tourists, which hey that’s great and the location is good. But as someone who has been searching for a shop as a local, this won’t be it.

I received a tattoo from Luis just the other day. I told him that I wanted the original outline of a "Jerry Bear" or known by some as the dancing bear which represents the band The Grateful Dead. I told Luis to do his thing with the detail of the tattoo and he exceeded all expectations i could have dreamed of in my head. It looks like this bear is dancing right off my arm and I love it. I cannot thank Luis enough for the time, dedication, and passion he put into this work of art. I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommended if you have a unique custom idea.

Jon was a guest artist and he was SO awesome. I just got my tattoo done and I wanted to rave about the experience. He was so personable, friendly and talkative. He also was very detail oriented. I didn’t get anything crazy or big but with how he treated my tattoo, I can tell he cares about every single piece of art he does. As for the shop, upon walking in, I was greeted and everyone was so friendly. The place is super clean and very comfortable. Thank you Jonathan! Best of luck in your future endeavors!:)
