  In typical Canadian fashion, we had followed our home NHL team down to Nashville for the playoffs. Last thing on my mind was finding a (cough cough) second dress for my wedding in July (two months away)!! Little did I know, I would walk down Church Street to see “The Dress”! I didn’t think “the dress” existed, and had already ordered a different gown back home, that was beautiful. One hour later, enticed by my impromptu and impatient personality, my mom and I walked in that Sunday morning! A blessing in disguise that the bridal salon was even open Sunday! A smiley Maddie unlocked the door and was met with my odd request of “if the dress on the mannequin fits, can I buy it?”. She was the best! Patient, listened, looked at photos of the dress I already owned, and contacted the store owners right away to find out if I could purchase it. Thank you for making this girl’s dreams come true! Nashville, one more reason to love you! If you’re looking for a great, honest bridal experience, this is your team!

  Madison was an INCREDIBLE dress consultant! We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in. I found a dress I liked and she encouraged me to feel sure, and try on more dresses (as we had an appointment somewhere else an hour later). I ended up buying a dress somewhere else, and felt terribly I couldn’t buy and give credit to Madison. Especially since at the other place they pressured me into making my decision that moment (which I hated). Madison deserves a raise, and the dresses here are beautiful.

  From the minute I stepped in to Modern Trousseau I felt completely taken care of, it truly was a dream to be able to work with them. Being able to customize my dress allowed me to pick all the best parts from different styles of dresses that I loved and bring them together to make my absolute dream dress a reality! I can not say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were and how many personal touches they put in to making this a truly unique experience. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a one-of-a-kind dress and experience to go here first!

  There are not enough words to describe my amazing experience with Modern Trousseau. I had a very long 2+ year engagement, but of course went dress shopping right away. I feel in love with one of their gowns, but wasn't ready to pull the trigger right away. Long story short, Modern Trousseau decided to discontinue the gown, but Madison (bless her) knew how in love I was with the dress and immediately called me to let me know the news. She was able to pull some strings, call the designer and ensured I could be the final bride to wear the Petal gown. In that instant, I knew Madison and Modern Trousseau would bend over backwards to make their brides happy and they 100% delivered. Not only was I able to customize every aspect of the dress, but the designer even made me a custom veil! I had plenty of faith in them knowing what would look best for the veil, so I let them run with it, and it turned out beautifully. This shop's attention to details, care for the brides and prompt responses were aspects of my wedding that made my experience amazing. Anyone I tell about Modern Trousseau also falls in love and I've been able to refer two of my friends and they've found their gowns there too! Please don't miss the opportunity to work with these amazing ladies. I promise you, it'll be the highlight of your wedding planning experience. Thanks for making me feel gorgeous, Madison & Allie!!

  If you are getting married and dress shopping you MUST GO HERE!!! I shopped around at several bridal boutiques looking for a dress that I loved and felt comfortable in, and was starting to get very discouraged. I was finding dresses that were beautiful, but there was always something that I wanted to change, but that meant $$$ way above my budget. Until I found Modern Trousseau.... Madison told me to touch and feel every dress in the shop because they all could be customized, which was music to my ears! I made multiple changes to my dress to make it just what I wanted, while still remaining within budget. Also, Madison is so wonderful! She is personable, makes you feel comfortable, and is such a pleasure to work with! I cannot rave about them enough - brides, they are the best!!
