  This month I took my pet for annual checkup and was looking forward to seeing Dr. Farmer. I was surprised to learn he is no longer affiliated with that clinic. It wasn't until we were in the exam room that I met the vet in clinic for that day. She seemed very knowledgeable and made helpful recommendations, but her standoffish manner was bone chilling.

  Dr. Farmer is very professional and very Nice! His staff is also great as well! Great prices and just an overall great place that I would trust to take care of my pet!

  Initially went in on Saturday right before 12pm, we didn’t have an appointment so we waited for about 15 mins for the tech to tell us that the doctor had to be out on time today and could not see us, despite the fact that there was only one person ahead of us already in the room and no one else in the lobby. I wasn’t too upset about this I understand people have things to do so we made an appointment. My fiancé took our dog in for an abrasion on her paw and left without any medication or real diagnosis. Instead the person he saw presented him with only one option which was an x-ray and then tried selling the benefits of this option by saying our dog could have cancer or arthritis (she’s 4) because she’s getting older. What?!?! On top of that before leaving they tried to sell him some special collars, which was an obvious tactic to get more money out of him. So we paid $40 for them to put the idea of cancer in our head and to tell us that our dog is overweight (thanks captain obvious)! She didn’t offer any other treatment options because it looked like it was “healing”. Seriously! It looks like it’s healing but needs an X-Ray? Wow! To say the least they failed to provide a solution or explanation that made sense and it was a complete waste of time and money! I rarely post reviews but I was born and raised in East End, so before the hardworking people of this community decide to spend money here, be sure to make an appointment and request the Dr. that everyone writes reviews about. We did not meet with Dr. Farmer, but the person representing this place while he is out is terrible!

  A kind, caring and affordable vet. This is truly the holy trifecta for vets, and Harrisburg is exactly that. Dr. Farmer has been especially helpful in helping us navigate our dog's anxiety, taking the time to understand the problem, and then doing the research to make sure he found the best solution. Whatever your vet needs are, I am confident that this clinic will serve you well, and not break the bank in the process!

  Very cozy and clean atmosphere. Receptionist was very polite and professional. Vet assistant was very knowledgeable kept us at ease throughout the visit. Doc was great, answers all questions never left us guessing, explains everything as he goes. Very gentle mannered with our loved ones. The pricing is very reasonable​, best in town.
