  A place where everybody knows your name ! Sounds familiar. That's right Cheers a small bar and no food lots of rift raft from surrounding areas in Chinatown. Its serves its purpose I suppose.

  It's an ohana style bar. It don't matter whatever's you are or believe in. Once you step in there, you're part of the family. Leave all attitudes at the door. Jon-Jon is the "BARTENDER"! He's the MAIN reason that place still rules! Ray is next, but he works the mornings. Dave us the closer. Ray ( mornings), Jon Jon (afternoon), Dave (closing). That's the line-up.

  Any night at Hanks could involve making a friend you'll keep for the rest of your life or getting into an adventure you'll remember forever. Or maybe you just have a few drinks with nice people. It's divey, but friendly and worth the visit if you're ready for what could happen next.

  I live up the street and stop by while walking the dog. A local, local crowd. Simple live music but can still hear the base and percussion of the jazz music upstairs. A couple TVs. One beer on tap (budlight). Easy place to get lost in my thoughts with a cold beer (Red Stripe - yay beer - $6). No young partiers, just chill. Bartender hustles to keep tables clear and patrons happy.

  Where everybody knows you're name. A Shanti old style pub that caters to live music. Hank Taufassau is a local boy that keeps his place a hands on club. Where the patrons can sing and join in with the band. It's friendly and opens at 6 am
