::What a beautiful venue. A huge bar lots of seating and the food is to die for. Local style cuisine with a gourmet touch of eloquence. All made from local produce grown right here in Hawaii. Favorites like poke, Rib eye, Luau Stew, my favorite kalbi short ribs with Kim chee fried rice. Fresh garden salads, and a huge bar ready to appease the happiest of drinkers and non alcoholic beverages alike. Also another Hawaiian custom that is struggling to make a comeback is live music. Local Hawaiian families have a knack for music, and what better than to add that to the other qualities of The Hukilau sports bar and grill. On any given day you can catch the latest in up and coming local artist male or female. I know because I myself play and entertain every Monday for happy hour. From 5 to 8.

::Great drinks and the friendliest people. Also, the Malasada a la mode is the best thing ever. It wasn't on the menu that I saw, but I asked if they had dessert. Do yourself a favor and do the same. I was staying at the Aston, so this place was super convenient, tasty, not tourist-over priced, and the folks here helped me out with questions about the area (where to eat, shop, etc.) all with great success. What more could you ask for?
