  Really overdue for a renovation. I had drain flies in my room. The room seemed clean, but very worn. The chair was dingy and there were spider webs in all of the corners. The walls need paint and the carpet and furnishings were not what one expects from a Hilton chain. I noticed a new Tru by Hilton just opened next door. We the loyal diamond members now have a brand new affordable choice very nearby. I will say that the bed linens are clean and the water was hot...

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Very good and great location. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok and rooms are clean and quiet. Everything worked perfectly in the room and in restaurant (for breakfast). It is not in the Riverwalk but it is so close to the Alamo and to everything that we didn't have to use our car (all tourist spots are walking distance). Parking is not so expensive (compared with others).

  After reserving easily by telephone, we were pretty disappointed to arrive and discover this location is NOT on the River Walk, as the name implies. Parking is $18 per day, which was also not advertised. The room was pretty standard - clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were friendly and check-in/check-out were quick and easy. While we might return, our vacation missed the River Walk experience we were expecting.

  Location isn't too far from the river walk, the Alamo and Ripley's Believe it or not and I must say one must experience Dick's! The ice machine and vending machine were out of order and I called the front desk inquiring how was I to get ice and a cola? Soon a young man delivered a cup of ice and a cola to my room. That's taking care of guest request. I guess I could of been told to go to another floor but instead they gave me personal care. The breakfast is wonderfully prepared each morning and delicious. Coffee is available 24 hours. The rooms are decorated with a Spanish influence and always cleaned daily. The staff are professional in whatever job title each hold.
