  Okay so I want to start off by stating, I've been a customer at this store for over 10 years. I purchased over $35,000 in equipment for my church a few years back (Full mackie sound system, snake, microphones, cables, full cw drumset with shield, keyboard and amp, guitars and amps, bass guitar ect.) And I have now spent a little over $10,000 on my own personal equipment. I ordered 2 smoke machines and lights from them last week. And first off, the employee who was supposed to be helping me was no help at all. It seemed as if he didnt even want to be there. My order this time was almost $900 and his demeanor was horrible. Then one of the lights ended up being defective, so I returned it and reordered the same light. When I went to the store to return and reorder a new one the guy in the pro audio told me he actually had one in the store and when he showed it to me the box was damaged and the product had already been opened. The bracket used to hang the light showed wear as if the light had already been hung and used. I was upset at this time because the guy was apparently trying to sell me a used product for the price of a brand new one. I told him I was not interested in that one and to just order another one. When the 2nd light arrived I opened the shipping package the product box had already been opened. The light was not packaged like the original was, it was missing the bag the light comes in and it was sitting sideways instead of upright. I know that back a few years ago at least in this location, service used to be a lot better and nothing like this ever happened to me. Apparently now guitar center is in business selling used gear for the price of new gear. If I could give 0 stars I would. Would much rather order from different businesses online than at guitar center now.

  I have to agree with many of the other reviews. This location is extremely unhelpful. Walked in and no one even acknowledged me for a good 20 minutes until I finally ask for some help. I had specific questions and asked to speak with someone who played. Apparently, they couldn't find anyone in the store that fit the description. One guy tried to help. I asked if he played and he said "no, but I sell them." He was nice enough, but clearly could do little more than agree with things I was saying and ended by saying "it's really just personal preference." I really wanted to buy in a physical store instead of online, but the only advantage in shopping a physical store is having access to people who can answer specific questions and give recommendations. Unfortunately, this store fails this criteria miserably.

  Outstanding selection of guitars (electric and acoustic), basses, amplifiers, PA systems, percussion, keyboard, microphones, recording equipment and a ton of accessories. Mostly new, but they do take trade-ins and offer some used and occasionally, vintage, gear. Lessons available here also. Aptly named, I don't think someone would go here looking for a horn, violin or a non-electric piano, which they don't carry. GC's prices are very competitive, and I've always received very good customer service. Five star rating; highly recommend!!
