  I'm a project manager for a construction company in Washington DC. I've worked with the guys at G&H for years now. They always give us fair pricing and their costumer service is the best. If I have questions about anything or I need something rushed to me, they are always ready to help at a moments notice. You can definitely tell the difference working with a family owned buisness rather than the big faceless big box stores or nationwide lumber suppliers. Give G&H a chance and you won't regret it.

  I LOVE Galliher & Huguely! They are an awesome combination of a friendly, reliable hardware store & a major construction material supplier. The front counter folks are extremely knowledgeable, they can get almost any product- from trek decking to 8" cove molding- and their lumber supplies are expansive. I've purchased Jeld-Wen windows and doors, and their pricing is competitive. I've purchased crown and picture molding, and their pricing is competitive. My first choice whenever I need anything house related.

  hello !! im the owner of F&C, we a local builder contractor and today April 9th at 8:45 and i almost got a punch on the face by one this guy that work on the middle yard and that was just because i have asked him a question. So that was very disappointed to me and honestly i and my company NEVER BE BACK THERE NO MORE, just because costumer service on the back is very, very BED.

  Extremely rude employees!! So disappointed because I'd rather give me business to them and not a big box store, but from now on I'll drive an extra 15mins to Home Depot!! Poor customer service should be the number priority. I was in line and witnessed another employee talking to a customer rudely as well. They talk to people as if everyone is a construction expert.

  Super helpful lumber yard. Little more expensive than Home Depot / Lowes but much better service and variety. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Go early, they close in the afternoon.
