::Tip - Happy Hour is only available in the first area next to the bar and the host stand. The pretzel bites are really good, and the house margarita is great for $7! The pizzas were both pretty good and probably more than one person should be eating, but we didn’t try, is the s’mores that three tables around us got! Missed opportunity there! The other food looks good, we didn’t need all that food though!

::Christmas day couldn't have been more disappointing. Four of us opted for the $65 buffet and every single dish was room temperature. Selection was very poor. Brussel sprouts, vegetable medley, potatoes, salmon, prime rib and ham. That's it. The salmon was actually cold. Ham was dry. Prime rib served by a carver. Very thin slices and somehow lukewarm despite a heat lamp. We told the manager who brought a bowl of hot brussel sprouts but all the food needed to be replaced with dishes that were at the proper temp. Having restaurant experience, I knew a health inspector would shut it down for improper temperature. So we chucked the buffet food and ordered off the menu. That food was hot but not great for the price. The service was awful. Had to keep asking people to find our server. Then our check was incorrect. This was a horrible dining experience and other diners we spoke with while waiting for the valet conveyed their disappointment as well. Expected better from the Biltmore for those prices. For any prices, actually.

::I ordered the Tomahawk Pork chops w/ Barley. I was not dissapointed. It was well cooked and the sauce was perfectly paired. The barley was also well cooked and was just the right amount. I can't wait to return.

::To start, the entire hotel is under construction, and signage directing guests anywhere is non-existent. But with a staff member's help, we got to the restaurant. Five of six in our party checked the website/menu to see that the weekend Buffet is served until 4pm. So getting there at 2? Plenty of time... Nope, buffet is only served until Noon! Our server was the worst ever; our drinks sat empty for 15 minutes, even though she kept filling the water glasses of her two other nearby tables. Food was good, but not good enough to make up for the service or atmosphere. Not what I was expecting from a Hilton/Waldorf-Astoria branded venue, an embarrassment to the memory/name of Frank Lloyd Wright.
