  I am giving the benefit of 2 stars only because the new office manager seems to be trying her best and is generally responsive. That being said you can't put lip stick on a pig! Do a THOROUGH walk through of your unit before you move in. Not that it matters because all of the things that I noted, drawers, toilet and cabinets were filthy, broken closet door, smelly carpet, etc were still not done prior to my moving in. Safety is an issue. The property is located near the end of the 15 bus line on Colfax so there are a ton of homeless folks around. I had to call the police for a homeless man sleeping in front of my door several times. After months of complaints to mgmt they finally put working punch code locks on the exterior doors, which has resolved this for the most part...unless tenants prop the door open. Have found needles outside on the grounds. I have intervened in 2 domestic violence incidents where a man was pummeling his girlfriend in the parking lot and the police are out on a weekly basis for one incident or another. Poor lighting inside the apartment. Free internet service works when most people are sleeping. Hot water takes 10 minutes to even become luke warm in the morning. I am terrified of the water being that a black mold like substances forms on the inside of my toilet weekly. Pros: Maintenance staff are nice, though not quick to act. New office mgr Dana is doing a lot of clean up and seems responsive. The pool area is maintained. Location, though hood, is near plenty of shopping and restaurants. Parking is never an issue. For the price it is a decent place to rebuild credit. I have personally not had any issues with pests, knock on wood (I would have broken my lease). And the best is my lease is over!

  The management here is just average, I have asked for internet connection maintenance for several times, but no response. Most important, neighborhood here is not very good. If you want to find a place with walking tiredness guy upstairs and loud music around from morning to midnight, that's the right place.

  Not a good value or in a safe area. Really tried to give it a chance, but had to move out because of multiple reasons. Had homeless individuals sleeping in the hall outside of my apartment. And someone was shot just outside the front door to the building.

  German cockroaches! Management does not disclose this fact at signing and lies when you find out saying treatments are "preventive only" whilst you're finding dead cockroaches in your drawers and cabinets. Grossest living conditions I've ever had to endure.

  The staff is horrible. The apartments are not worth the price at all. EVERYTHING is always broken and they slow as hell when it's time to fix anything. Small and it get very hot . Don't do it. Go anywhere else but here . Trust me babe its not OK , you deserve better. Don't have low self-esteem issues when it comes to your apartment choices
