::I had an excellent experience at this body shop. My car was backed into in a parking lot, and I needed my back bumper replaced. When I called Geico, they had an easy process to set up the repair for a $0 deductible and free car rental (through the other guy's insurance, since he was at fault). They have a partnership with several specific body shops, and honestly I had never heard of this place nor was it the closest to my house (40 mins away), but they had the appointment available when I needed it, so I went there. I was so impressed from the moment I walked in. I was greeted immediately by the friendly ladies in the front, and the Geico adjuster was right there as well. They both had paperwork ready for me, and after just a few minutes they brought my car into the bay and invited me in. Immediately the car was surrounded by the Geico agent, a shop employee, myself, and the owner, who promptly introduced himself. Everyone had clipboard in hand and we all walked around the car to discuss the damage together. I left the shop with the impression that it was run like a well-oiled machine, with everyone being prompt, friendly, professional, competent, and actually cared about my satisfaction as a customer and doing the best job they could on my car. Three days later I got a call that it was ready for pickup, and when I went to retrieve it I again was greeted immediately and with a friendly smile by the front desk, and after a short wait of about 5 minutes another shop employee came out with my paperwork, pulled my car to the front, and we went outside together. Again, the owner immediately showed up to supervise. We all went over in detail what had been done, and my car (a 2011) looked brand new. They even fixed a few small dings that were not technically caused by the accident but were close by. They replaced the whole back bumper, tail lights, and painted the whole thing to match perfectly (not easy since it is a black metallic paint). The entire car was detailed inside and out: it was filthy when I brought it in because I usually have 2 carseats in the back for my two 4-year olds...if you have young kids then you know how dirty the interior of my car was! The whole car, inside and out, looked brand new. On top of it, as we were going over it, the owner found one teensy-tiny spot on the edge of a back door where the wax hadn't totally been rubbed off; he asked if I would mind waiting a moment while he had someone fix it. As he left to get another employee, the shop employee standing with me said with a little chuckle, "he's always very meticulous." He didn't want anything leaving his shop that wasn't absolutely perfect. Also, I was told by the receptionist, the shop employee, and the owner that all of their work is guaranteed for however long you own the car. Overall, I was so, so impressed with the attention to detail, professionalism, and care me and my car received at Fishkill Auto Body. No one wants to have to have body work done, but if you have a choice, GO there! You will not be disappointed!
