The Worst bank you could choose. After being a customer for 24 years, there is no one who can get beyond the robot over seas call centers that transfers you around, and disconnects your calls. The local manager called to apologize and still could not make any intervention to remedy the mistakes on my account. They should be sued.

Very rude employees. I moved to the northern Marion county area early this year and work in Carmel so the Carmel branch is convenient but I will avoid going there. I will say the employees at the two branches on North Michigan have been wonderful.

Worst fifth third branch in Indiana. The staff and manger are very inconsiderate, always have an attitude they make it a bad experience every time I step foot at their location, will be closing my account after more than 5 years due to unprofessional staff.

We own a small business and have banked with 5/3 rd for over a year. We need to expand and had made an appointment with the business banking manager, Nick at the Carmel location, to discuss our growing needs. and Nick did not show up for the appointment or call us to tell us he would be out today. We took our time away from our business and he could not have the courtesy to let us know he would not be in today. Clearly Nick nor his coworkers care enough about our time and money. We will be looking for a new banking partner.

I recently had an insurance claim on my home for storm damage to my roof. I filed the claim, worked through the process, got my check, got it endorsed by my mortgage holder and tried to deposit it at this branch. I see the amount credited to my account and process. Two days later I see the amount was debited from my account. I called to ask what happen and was told by the local branch that they thought the check was for them for my mortgage. I advised I don't have a mortgage with them. They asked if a manager could call me back. The manager calls me back and tells me that the check needed to be endorsed by my mortgage company. I told them it had been (at the cost of $25 to me to over night the check to my lender) and that the mortgage company had signed it over to me. The manager then told me the check had been mailed back to me because they couldn't deposit it due to security concerns because having a third party on a check made my account subject to fraud. So here we are a few days later and no check arrives. I call 5/3 again and I'm told that the check was sent back to my mortgage company. I asked why. The phone rep said that because I didn't have enough money in my account to cover the check, they could not deposit it. This is one of the dumbest answers I have received. I asked him if he though that made sense and he said his manager told him that was what it was. So I asked him how anyone can ever open an account because any amount deposited into a new account, which would be at $0, would be greater than the balance, so by his answer, no one would ever be able to open an account. I called my mortgage company and they say they haven't received any check back. They stated the check was probably mailed back to my insurance company rather than the mortgage company. So what 5/3 did was take a $9,100 legal and fully endorsed check and drop it in the mail to "someone" (neither their branch or national customer service number know where). The customer service is atrocious and both the local branch and national number just gave me convoluted answers just to get me off the phone. Also, I'm an insurance adjuster, I handle these types of check endorsing situations every day, so I'm not confused at to the process, they just really don't know what they're doing.
