  It's a tight fit, but you can go around if needed. The rock is smooth from the passing of so many people squeezing through. :-)

  Very cool. The pass is tight but you need to see it. Im not an experienced hiker, and I thought the trail was reasonable, not extremely difficult.

  Hike there was not to difficult but interesting enough to want to continue. Fat man's pass isn't something you spend too much time at but a cool little stop.

  Great place for kids and adults alike. Fun to squeeze through the pass. Natural rock slide next to the pass as well. Took a little over 3 hours to hike from the start of Mormon Canyon trail to the pass, play around for a while, then hike back down with kids aged 6-9. The trails are well signed so it is pretty easy to follow.

  Love hiking to Fat Man’s Pass! I start at the top and take the 1.8 mile hike across the summit. Full of great views and semi strenuous activity. Fat Man’s Pass itself is always several degrees cooler making it an ideal resting spot for a lunch or relaxing read with a good book.
