Always great customer service at the desk. Shuttle is available when needed but closes down by 9pm which can be a bummer but there are Ubers and taxis to get you back to the hotel. It's very conveniently located. The rooms are always nice and clean. They have free WiFi which is always a plus in my book. They also have a nice swimming pool and hot tub. They have complimentary breakfast from 6am to 9am in the lobby and it's delicious something for everyone. The new thing that's been added is your receipt for staying with them now gets email to you and you can add items from the market to your room. This market is located in the lobby and near the front desk. I love the fact that they had Mountain Dew in a bottle not all hotels will carry both Coke and Pepsi but they should! Will definitely be going there again in the future!

Clean and friendly; One of the better continental breakfast, full of fresh fruit and hot food options as well as cold cerals, yogurts, bread items and more. Staff was friendly and Swift in any requests we had. Within a reasonable walking distance from Union station and Crown Center. Would recommend highly and if we are in KC again, will definitely be coming back.

Super thin walls - I could hear my neighbor yawn, snore and talk. Not just talking sounds, but actual words. Doors slamming all the time. Super frustrating. The front desk was not friendly, they wouldn't let me change rooms to fix my noise problems. I interacted with 5 front desk staff over my week long stay - only 2 seemed like they cared slightly. The others were rude and had the attitude of being really annoyed to be at work. The shuttle driver was also terrible. The front desk said he has a 2 mile radius but he said he wouldn't go that far. Ended up dropping us off at a corner several blocks shy of where we wanted to go. Some hospitality. Overall this hotel was the worst thing about Kansas City for my trip. I will try and get my company to book a different stay if I come back to town. If you're just a tourist looking for a cheap place to stay for a weekend event, I'm sure you'll be fine. But if you're a business traveler looking for quiet accommodations that have Marriott hospitality, you're in the wrong spot. No one from my work party got a restful night sleep here. The only positive this place has is location. I would not recommend this hotel and hope they take note.

They've done a nice job with the renovations there recently. Well located in the Union Hill neighborhood, within walking distance of Liberty Memorial, Union Station and Crown Center with a nice size parking lot. The rooms were a little small but were clean and well kept. They were able to take a last minute reservation for us which was nice and the gals at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They had a nice breakfast area with a decent selection for their complimentary breakfast. They do have a free shuttle service which is a very nice feature however their driver was a tad rude, despite us likely being his only shuttle of the evening which is why I give it 4 stars.

Decent hotel located within the vicinity of downtown entertainment places and work places. Complimentary parking is a great incentive to stay at this hotel. Breakfast is complimentary and decent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: Could do a better job making sure room floor and desk area are completely tidy. Overall, no major complaints and would recommend hotel.
