We called ahead to book a car and traveled all the way out only for them to tell us it was a 4 hour wait. They should just admit over the phone they can't fulfill the customers requirements. Terrible service. We went to Hertz down at the Reinessance hotel and Curtis there was so amazingly helpful. He bent over backwards to get us in a car for the full day even though we were a walkin. I recommend moving on to there.

Office Staff in DC very professional and patient while I worked out a personal credit card issue to pay for rental, and guys in pick-up garage hooked me up with EZ Pass toll gizmo and accurate directions to start me on my way. (They did impose a deposit which was I had been advised would be waived due to reservation using corporate account). Return to PHL airport two days later was effortless as well, with shuttle that hauled me and my bags to meet my associates at "Arrivals" instead of "Departures.

Great experience at this location, came in for a sedan but was not available. John however did get me going in a Pacifica which turned out to work perfect. John was very professional and easy to deal with as was all of the other representatives. I would definitely visit this location in the future.

While the issue was ultimately resolved to my satisfaction by the manager of this location, Jeff, the rental experience was a nightmare! It started with getting a car that obviously had not been cleaned (even according to my 10 year old son who commented on the dirty seats and removed garbage from the vehicle before we even left the garage). I then realized, once on the interstate, that the vehicle desperately needed an alignment. After becoming concerned about the safety of driving the vehicle, I noticed that the registration had expired 1 1/2 months ago. The vehicle was not even legal! Upon arriving at our destination, I spoke to the district manager as Jeff was not available. She obviously did little to locate another vehicle for me although she explained to me that she had. I located a vehicle on my own (which took 3 days) and ultimately was able to switch out the car for one that was legal ~ and clean, which by that point was a bonus. I should mention that at no point did any Enterprise employee offer to "pick me up" despite that being the tag line of their new advertising campaign. When I requested a pick up, I was told that was not possible as "we would have to pass 4 other Enterprise locations to do so and we're not authorized to do that." Furthermore, after reserving a vehicle through the reservation line during this same stay, I arrived at the location only to be told there was no vehicle for me despite my confirmation. Dealing with Enterprise employees (who were friendly and professional yet unable to meet my needs) and concerns related to the vehicle we were rented occupied 3 days of my vacation which was inexcusable. The bottom line was that the experience was a complete nightmare and as a loyal Enterprise customer for 20+ years, I would think twice and be extra careful if I decided to use Enterprise in the future.

From making the reservation to the completion of my rental, the entire staff was extremely gracious & helpful. Every employee (& I mean every employee) was enthusiastic and eager to assist me with ALL of my various questions. I Highly recommend this downtown location!
