Staff friendly and courteous. Had issue with A/C in the room and Anthony with maintenance was there in less than 10 minutes to check the problem. All it took was him going down to main control and restarting unit. Problem solved. There was construction in front of hotel that booking company failed to mention. Hotel staff very helpful with dining suggestions. Valet prompt. Although hotel old rooms very clean and comfortable.

It’s a nice hotel on the river walk. A little far from everything but nice. The pool was refreshing and 9 feet deep. Which you don’t see anymore. The rooms were small but still good for a little getaway

I read the reviews before booking but didn't allow petty remarks to dissuade me. The staff goes beyond what is expected to make your stay comfortable. The hotel has a 'from the movie Scarface' feel that is actually nice. The convenience of the Riverwalk being literally steps from the hotel is a HUGE plus. Overall, I'll be back!

Not a bad stay, a little bit away from the main attractions at the Riverwalk. The hotel lobby was very modern and bright, the elevator and the lodging floors were somewhat dated. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. An additional $20 for parking on top of the room fee felt a little steep considering it was not located as close to the attractions as some of the other properties. For what it ended up costing I could have stayed at a 4 star.

Its an okay spot to lay your head. The lobby and main areas are nice but the rooms are okay. We were suppose to get a queen size bed and moved from one room with a full size bed to another also with a full size bed. The bathroom is designed for short slim people. The toilet was too close to the wall and there was a rack in front of it that we had to move out of the bathroom in order to have leg room. The toilet paper holder was in the worse place possible. I'm 6 feet and I had the choice of wedging my leg under the holder and breaking it or sitting on an angle. Knowing what I know now if I was on a budget I might stay there again but more than likely I'll plan ahead better. The staff was very nice though.
