::Fall 2017 Update: Seriously, the reviews about this independent business are true. Just this last month Dave has responded to 2 emergency issues with our cars. This week I told my fiancee - "this is the mark of an honest shop" - when Dave quickly identified exhaust and electrical issues correctly, conceded his crew could not achieve the needed repairs, and referred us to respective specialists nearby. And his referrals were spot on. One of them - Rayco Auto in Silver Spring - got my piping work completed in an hour at a fair price. Finally, it should be noted that the night drop system with the Shell staff is easy and you can leave your car after hours on their lot. Super convenient. First review: Dave and his crew are reasonable and trustworthy - real special in this industry. They have earned my family's business for years.

::David was able to solve a problem that had been triggering my check-engine light for years. I've taken it to multiple mechanics who couldn't figure out the problem, but David solved it quickly and with minimal expense. It was amazing he could identify the issue so swiftly. I've had it for months since that fix and the check-engine light has not ever returned. These guys do great work, are honest, smart and efficient.

::A nail pierced my tire and left me on a busy workday with a flat. I found DP Auto the night before on google and am glad I did. It was quite busy in the morning, with many cars in line. That said, they fixed the tire quickly and charged a fair price. Very happy and will definitely be back.
