  I just moved from WA and needed to get a key made for my fire safe that I had lost. I had to replace the key years ago in WA and paid $20 there. The locksmith here in AZ only charged me $15 and he was was nice enough to carry my safe into the store for me, and back out to my car. Such a gentleman ;-)

  Scheduled my appointment for 4pm. It was 430 no call from neither the office or the technician. Until I called them and was told there was a miss communicate between them. Shorty after I notified them of the wait the technician called and informed that it would be no more then 40 minutes. He did apologize for the mix up. After waiting an 1hour and 42 minutes late for my class he finally shows up. He walks out with eyes blood shot, white t-shirt untucked, pants bangy and no name tag or even matching clothe. He parks right behind my car which is on the street. As he parks he blocks my drive way so my sister leaving can't get out. I ask him if you could move the van. His reply was wait one minute. So if finally moves enough for my sister to leave but again proceed to park right be hind me once again. After a few minutes I ask him if you would mind moving in front of my car where he wouldn't be blocking the drive way. Is say yes and tells me to wait one minute. Never moves the van and my sister when she returns is forced to park behind him. So he half complete the work and says he can finish tomorrow. I asked if the same time would be okay which was 4pm. He states he has more jobs up east and it would be hard for him to drive all the way back to my house. He then says if he can meet me at my work which is closer. I let me know it is private property and while I'm working they can have vehicles park that do not belong. He kept insisting on meeting me at my work because it would be more convenient for him. So I told me I would see wht I could do. So now not only was he late, not dressed professionally, no customer care for my family or my job. Then he tell me it would be 260 because it was already late in the day when he started so it would be extra. I will never use this company ever again. If they have people this him representing there company then I'm sure they will be out of business in no time.

  The owner himself, Gary Sachs, came by to re-key all my doors. I met Gary last fall at an industry event and he explained how he runs his business with integrity and fair pricing. When I called, I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours! Gary was on time for our appointment and very courteous. He worked quickly and was very neat and clean. He made sure all the new keys worked before he left. I recommend Downtown Locksmith to anyone who needs an honest, dependable and reliable locksmith. I will definitely use him again the next time I need a locksmith!
