  I placed a to go order it wasn't ready when I got there! I was ask if I wanted meatballs with my spaghetti which meat tasted horrible. I ordered 2 vegetables , squash casserole and Italian spinach.The spinach looked as if a can of spinach was opened with garlic added, no cheese added and it had liquid running off, so disappointed with both vegetables!! Got cornmeal instead of rolls. I never had a problem before but I won't return.The food made me sick at my stomach.Ii couldn't take back cause I didn't have time but I did call and suggest whoever gets to go orders ready to read what was ordered!! I didn't know when I called, how bad the vegetables and meat were until I started to eat.So very disappointed and the food is much overpriced but have paid in the past cause I wanted vegetables and meat. I know Cupboard has been around a long time. Maybe there was a new cook. It was a late lunch, around 3:30 so food must have been sitting a while.Thanks but No thanks Cupboard!!!!!!!😣I have never been asked if I wanted meatballs with spaghetti so thought maybe this was something new?????? .

  It was great, we are from Louisville,ky on vacation here an breakfast is the most meal of the day so look up great breakfast an this is the number 1 an it was great! Jennifer took care of us today an she was great as well. Overall 100% great

  Usually a great place to eat. But evidently the cook didn't read the ticket correctly. I ask the waitress for crispy fried hash browns and they came to me barely cooked. Just the opposite of what I ask for. The water I was drinking tasted funny so I did not get a refill. My steak was mostly fat and had too much of their seasoning on it. Needless to say I did not finish the meal. No one ask me how was my meal. Not the waitress or the cashier. But as I said before the place is usually ok.

  the cupboard is a quaint super Unusual southern food restaurant. It's 75 years old it's only been in two locations just down the street from each other in those 75 years. They have fresh vegetables from turnip greens to Black Eyed Peas to Fried Green Tomatoes it goes on and they're entrees or just as good it's reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money. I live out of town now but I get back as often as I can to eat that the cupboard I've been eating there now for over 70 years. I think they say that the proof is in the pudding when something's good.

  I experienced good customer service! From the waitresses and the cashier. At the front counter of the restaurant. Praise God! I was blessed to be seated quickly in a timely manner and fashion! Amen! The breakfast i had. Was not that great at the time of consumption. There eggs were cold! One sausage was warm. One sausage was cold. I ordered orange juice! And the waitress came back with cranberry juice. The second time around. She gave me my right drink. The toast was the old thing. That was of right temperature. God bless cupboard to better! In the name of the father, the son, the holy spirit. I decree! I declare! Bless them all! Amen!
