::I went to a boot camp class here using ClassPass-- the workout consisted of pretty basic moves (pushups, pullups, squats, and running) but was intense and I definitely felt it for a few days.

::The coaching staff here is amazing. They are very knowledgeable and provide great instruction to reduce the possibility of injuries as much as possible. The members here are friendly and enthusiastic. They also have all brand new equipment. After dropping it at other croasfit boxes across the country and across the workd, I realize just how amazing CrossFit DC is.

::I was visiting DC for a few months, and wanted to join a box. Crossfit DC was recommended by a friend. It was awesome. Great coaches and a really friendly community; they were also super accommodating towards short-term memberships.

::My experience is with the H Street location specifically. I only kept a membership here for two months and then moved on to a different gym because I didn't feel comfortable with their coaching staff. I'm relatively new to CrossFit which means I need movements explained. The staff here, nearly across the board, do not offer a description of their exercise, any demonstration of the movement, and barely any feedback. Whenever I asked what the exercise meant, across multiple coaches, I was met with exasperation. 'You don't KNOW what a kip swing is?" No, and I bet I'm not the only one in this group that would benefit from at least a cursory explaination. The instructors swarm to their friends and the guys lifting big weight, leaving new people to wiggle around without instruction. Then, in the same week, two of my friend injured themselves lifting here and I dropped my membership. It's not safe or enjoyable. I like my new gym a lot more. If you're great at CrossFit, the facilities are nice and you should drop in. If you're new, go elsewhere.

::My girlfriend and I took a class on Saturday. It was a kettle bell workshop that lasted 90 minutes.. i came out super happy. The class did not do the same for my body, haha, I was delightfully and perfectly sore! Coach was the best at making sure we all had perfect form and enjoyed ourselves.
