This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The food and service are both fantastic, and the bartender is inspired. I highly recommend the beef heart tartar, and the grilled cheese, but you really can't go won't with anything here. Also if you have enough people, a half pigs head is amazing.

Impressive food, and a fine selection of wine. We attended here for a company event, and boy were those steaks huge! They're completely shareable for 3 people - which we did. We ended up trying a few of the steaks, added in the surf and turf (which also was shareable for 3), and topped it off with some delicious chardonnay. Had a blast going here - our team had an enjoyable time. Their service was quick, their venue is super "chill," and the food quality is great.

The pigs head was one of the best meats I've ever eaten. Delicious crispy skin and fatty cheeks. However, the wagyu beef special was not worth it and chewy. The waiter suggested we get the amaretto after dinner drinks and they were awful. Somehow still giving it 5 stars because the pigs face was that good. Large specials meant for sharing leads to a great night overall.

It was a very tasty meal. Andrew was the grill master during our meal. He did a great job there. The meal was as advertised, the head is one you must share with others. The meat is fantastic but given the fat it was hard for us to finish the meal with just two people. The service was very good with them filling my water often. The people set us up at the front so we can see everything being made. The cold night I was there made me very happy to be by the grill.

One of, if not my favorite restaurant in SF. Chef Chris makes some amazing dishes and I've eaten things in his restaurant I don't know that I would eat in others and found them to be amazing! The "ham"burger here is arguably the best in the city. They have a great oyster happy hour as well. Try to sit at the counter if you can, it makes the experience even better.
