::My husband and I stopped by on a Thursday evening to pick up our marriage license and there wasn’t a line. The lady who assisted us was super nice and efficient. We applied online so the process was faster than usual. I ordered our certificate online and it arrived in three days although their website said 10 business days!

::I got there with my fiance on Saturday, 11th around 1:30PM. Got in line, and waited like everyone else that was there. Luckily, the line wasn't too bad. We got to window #2. Told the clerk that I pre-registered online (recommended), so we didn't have any paperwork to fill out. The clerk too both our Nevada licenses, looked it over to get our names. Then proceeded to look for our pre-registered record. She then looked at the record and looked and asked us why our parents names are listed as "unknown". I proceeded to tell her that we don't know our parents' name. She then looked at us and said with an attitude, "you both don't know your parents? It's required." I told her I don't know because I never knew them (we are both Vietnamese refugee orphans). She didn't believe us. That's when I got a little angry and told her, "what would you like for me to fill in there? I don't know who they were"! She then stopped looking at me and only looked at my fiancee for the rest of the transaction. This clerk (younger african american lady) Worse attitude ever! IF ANYONE FROM CLARK COUNTY IS READING THIS. YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO LEARN SOME MANNERS!!!

::Las Vegas is like no other city in the world thanks to your hard work at the Marriage Bureau. I had a fun time learning from all the couples coming in and out of the Marriage Bureau for their weddings and I was only inside for a few hours. Combine that with all the chapels outside of the bureau and the prisoners getting released from the jail next door, there is a film in the works somewhere for your enterprise.

::I'm not one to give advice on marriage, but had two friends get a civil marriage here and it was pretty quick and easy. Mainly its just to gather a few close family members, get married, then celebrate after.
