Great food! Fair prices. Nice, newly renovated atmosphere. Excellent kind server. And, best of all for this weather, outdoor seating. We went for an afternoon snack on mothers day. We just had appetizers, so I can really only speak to those, but I saw the food and it looks equally tasty. The only things that weren't to my taste (but are probably to other peoples taste) are that the screens over the bar are huge and end up dominating the restaurant area too -- -normal least-common-denominator-thinking in this culture is that when in doubt make it a sports bar ... . Not knocking any stars for that though. Likewise the music was a notch too high for a restaurant. We might not be their typical customer... was just a convenient stop for us and they may usually serve a louder sports-loving crowd (even on sundays at 2 pm?). They do food + service well, which is why I rated them 5 stars.

Let’s start from beginning. Bar has a great vibe. Jammed packed on a nice April weekend. Ordered drinks at bar. Just as had requested. Seat and at reserved table with windows all opened - very nice. VERY LOUD!!!!! No soft materials to absorb the sound but windows open let noise out. Ordered apps—- crab fondue- would NOT order again. Arrived with 2 pieces of bread not sliced in our group of 6 and fondue was awful. Non of us ate it after initial bite & I sliced bread w/o bread knife. Also ordered calamari. It was tender but not crunchy— pass on it. Waiter was outstanding! He knew the entire menu down to types of beer. His recommendation for a non-IPA beer drinker was spot on. Fish tacos outstanding. Duck Reuben was good. Burgers good too. Wine in a beaker was okay & over priced. Will try again.

The service is the friendliest in all of Pittsburgh. So much diversity in the staff which is a welcome change. They make you feel like you belong. Kim and Shawn are amazing bartenders. Good place. Menu is amazing, a bit pricy but well worth it.

Got a drink with some friends and ended up sitting in a place that looked closed. We decided we would go to the front and get seated and a menu but a waiter stopped us and said he’d get us a menu. We waited 15 minutes. Went to the front and they told us the section was closed. Told them the whole story and they sat us in the exact same seats. By that time we spotted that sandwich shop across the way and decided not to spend our $60 at this pretentious place. We got good food instead.

Went for a drink with my wife and two friends. Sat at an open table. The host, who later said his name was Matt, came over and very rudely stated “YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR NAME IN AND BE SEATED”. No hello, no excuse me I’m sorry. We then put our name in and stood around for 5 minutes looking at a few empty tables. I asked another host what the wait was as Matt was coming back to the host stand. He said “45 minutes to an hour”. I asked him why he didn’t think to tell us that, especially considering the multiple empty tables. I informed him of how rude he had been to us earlier. He fake apologized. We left.
