Famous and delicious sandwich shop where they put the Cole slaw and fries right on the sandwich. Almost all are hot and traditional, but you can add an egg if you want. They use amazing Italian bread which holds everything together really nicely. Very tasty! Also they serve a large selection of beers but nothing fancy, just the basics. Really a must visit spot when in Pittsburgh.

Nice location, small but has an inner and outer section. Employees seemed friendly enough. They were stingy with the dressing for the salad and it could've been a little bigger for the price. I liked their sandwiches and fries from what I remember.

Very please with the food! My sister & I don't even like cole slaw but we love it on the pittsburgher! We had to get fries w/ cheese & bacon. As you can tell by the picture, it was delicious also ๐Ÿ˜ service was alright. Would definitely be coming back

"Almost famous" sandwiches by description. Iconic sandwiches, in my opinion. Upon arriving in PGH for the first time, 4 people recommended a Primanti Bros. sandwich. A reputation like that isn't built overnight- it's evident that they love what they do and it translates into the food they prepare. Will gladly try another sandwich if I return to Pitt!

Small but cool vibe in this place. When I was there they were very busy and only had a few people running everything so service was a bit slow, but friendly. Food was different, considering they put fries and slaw on the sandwich. Never had it before but decided to give it a go. Way too big, so you could easily split a sandwich between two people. Overall a good experience, tasty food with friendly folks. Also a decent beer selection to go with the food.
