I called to ask about a dress to see if they had a specific style I wanted (I had all the dress information including style number) and the lady who picked up said they do not give information over the phone and as I was beginning to ask another question she cut me off and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional.

I went there today with my mom dress shopping for her 50th birthday party and we had a great experience. I was a little nervous at first due to the reviews but from the minute we entered the store we received a warm welcome. The owner was nice as well. The sales associate made me feel so comfortable; she is super sweet. They both helped us pick out the cutest accessories after we selected our dresses. I understand that at any clothing store there are particular guidelines owners want customers to take into consideration so I was fine with that if it applied to my mom and I but luckily for us it went smooth. Please don't let those negative reviews discourage you from visiting Chez Moi; We are beyond excited and pleased with our purchases. I highly recommend this boutique if you are looking to stand out at whatever occasion you are attending

i was at this location today looking for a prom dress only to witness discrimination right in front of me the employee an older short lady with blond hair was very rude and aggressive with how she approaches customers i felt like i was at the scene of pretty women when she was told to leave the store. this employee told a mother and her daughter to leave because they could not afford any of the dresses that they sell yet this mother was just asking a question and wanted to speak to the owner but this women continue with yelling and being racist and told the other employee a young lady do not help them do not sell them a dress leave the store thats all she kept saying to them you cant afford what we sell her go next door. i dont understand how is this store even open when it scream discrimination and racism all over it from the moment you walk in needs to be reported to nyc human rights for discrimination. to anyone looking for a prom go to the one located just doors down (SOLEIL) save yourself the headache....

I would give it 0 stars if I could - By far the worst boutique I stepped into. Let's start with the greeting, as soon as I walked in the sales lady looked at my friend and I in disgust, I chose to ignore that because I understand people may have an "off-day" and maybe that's what was going on with her as well. Anyway, I walked up to the sales lady on the floor, and showed her a picture of what I wanted, since it was listed on their site- that the dress was available. She gave me a nasty look and said that she is too busy to help me, and that the dress I wanted was upstairs. The store was legit empty, it was just my friend, a mom and her daughter, and me at the time, so I was curious as to why she could not help me. I left the lady alone, and browsed the store, she FOLLOWED my friend and I through the store, and whispered to her staff to keep a close eye on us because we might steal something, please as if. I have never received such horrible customer service, I know I will definitely never come there. I found Oz Boutique, which is a 5 minute walk from Chez Moi in the opposite direction, their staff is wonderful and was super helpful and their collection is UPDATED and beautiful!

I had the worst experience ever in my life at this store. I went to get a prom dress and the saleswoman told me to bring my mother and just walked away from me. The thing I don’t understand is that why I need my mother when I’m the person who’s going to pay for my dress. My question is why run a business when you can’t even deal with two customers at a store. She made me feel so small and stupid infront of my friends. I would never go back or recommend this store to anybody else.
