  Needed to close one of my accounts, and I happened to be in downtown at the time. I was greeted warmly at first as soon as I walked in by one of the bank officers. However, after he learned that I was closing an account, he became dismissive, rude, and generally hostile. He curtly sat me at one of the empty desks and told me to call customer service. If I wanted to call customer service, I wouldn't have dropped in. Unbelievable. After being put on hold for 20 minutes, someone finally answered. Unfortunately, it was from an outsourced call center. I couldn't hear or understand the guy very well. It also didn't help that his command of the English language was somewhat limited. After a frustrating 10 minutes, the customer service representative hung up on me. I marched to the bank officer and told him that I was done being given the runaround-- having spent over 30 minutes for something that should've taken 5 minutes (and I didn't even get it done)! How do I know this? The bank officer, without even talking to or looking at me, went to his computer and closed the account in a flash. I was planning on opening an investment account with them later, but this absolutely disgraceful display of utter disrespect that I had to endure completely soured me on Chase forever. This was the absolute worst experience I have had in banking, ever. Chase is a terrible bank, and you should avoid it at all cost if you value being treated like a human being.

  Chase is a leader in full servie banking. Loans, morgages checking or savings there tellers are trained to perfection. Always a smooth, fast and friendly visit to get you on your way.

  Closest Chase bank to me. Every one is friendly there. Also get your fix of free lollipops when you go!

  The people have been personable whenever I've come by. One time, I was in line behind a very creepy guy that made everyone extremely uncomfortable. After I made my transaction and left, the manager of the place looked up my phone number and gave me a call to check in with me. That was a neat gesture.
