::This place is incredible. We had a great time talking to Tommy. He was very personable and extremely informative. The store itself had a good selection of moto/lifestyle gear and he definitely makes a mean cup of joe. The gear in the store is top of the line and great quality. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. What was supposed to be a 30 minute quick shopping trip ended up being 2 hours of conversations with Tommy himself. This is the first of many visits. Highly recommend! :)

::First of all, this Gem of a store ain't for everyone, but those of you who like and appreciate quality products and doesn't mind paying a fair price for it, you are in for treat. From Nudie Jeans to Left Field NYC to Billy Kirk to Mexican Coke, I can assure you that product Tommy carries are top notch stuff. In fact I have been buying and supporting some of the brands he carries before his shop opened up. So it was great news to me that he opened up his shop so close to my work, so I don't have to deal with shipping charges and other tidbits when I shop, etc....But the real reason I go to his shop is because he has great advice on fitting, his expertise on the product he carries, so you know what you are getting, and his friendly service that is beyond what you expect out of your typical brick and mortar store. I recommend this place to anyone who is all about that good good stuff.

With an emphasis on high quality American-made products, Butterscotch stocks Nudie, Wolverine, Vanson and a number of other thoughtfully selected independent brands. Long Beach local and shop-owner Tommy, has put his heart and soul into building the shop and is a welcome addition to the growing East Village Arts District. Butterscotch, along with around-the-corner neighbors Snake Oil Provisions, are must-visit stops for those in the denim, heritage and moto communities.
