  I love the employees here! They are so patient and thorough with every customer. I came in with a whole list of preferences and requirements for a laptop, and although it took me and one of the associates an hour and a half to compare and contrast features and prices of what was available, they were able to find me an affordable laptop that fit all of my needs.

  For what it is, Best Buy in Mission Valley is an enormous store. There is a plethora of products and a full range of options. Pricing for a retailer is comprable with most major brand names and chains. The staff is pretty knowledgeable and usually engaging. It's still nice when you have a couple storefronts that you can go by and touch and adjust and use products before you purchase them. Take it for what it is.I

  I would have given them a “0” if possible. Total lack of responsibility for the geek squad. Made an appointment 2 days ago to have iPhone battery changed. Appointment was for 7:20. I specifically asked if the phone would be done by 9:00 and was told “yes absolutely”. Drove 30 miles here and was told “ Oh we have a problem”. The associate was nice about it but couldn’t explain why we would have to leave the phone till tomorrow. Asked for a manager. She was adamant that the problem was it took 2 hours to change a battery and my appointment was for 7:20. I explained that I had asked these very questions 2 days ago and was told it was no problem. She said we could check it in and it would be done tomorrow. My son was traveling tomorrow so that was a non starter. She stated she had 4 phones already checked in. Not my Problem. Again another reason not to use these people. Total lack of customer service, incompetent management, and always an excuse. If something happened and they couldn’t do the work, they had my phone number. They could have at least called so I didn’t waste all evening on a 60 mile round trip to mission valley. Will not ever set foot in this store again !

  These guys almost made a stellar experience... almost. Called in ahead of time to reserve a monitor. Went to get it half an hour later and they couldn't find it nor the person who was suppose to put it on hold. That took definitely some time. However, the BB crew bounced back by price matching two items, which was near an additional $75 in savings. . . 4 out of 5 stars.

  $1000 TV did not include hardware for mounting to the base stand. $200 soundbar does not function at all. Spent two hours on the phone with both Sony and Best Buy. My only option is to repack the equipment and do an exchange. If the new equipment is faulty, rinse and repeat. Best Buy offered to send a tech to diagnosis their faulty equipment for $100. This tech is unable to even bring a new unit, so I’d essentially be paying $100 to have someone else tell me my equipment is faulty. This is why Best Buys are closing left and right. Unbelievably rude customer service. $1300 purchase less than 24 hours ago and as far as they’re concerned once my CC is billed I’m just another number. Avoid this place if you can. I’m shocked with the way I’ve been treated. Shame on you Best Buy. Glad your stores are closing, I hope Mission Valley is next.
