::Fantastic and healthy food! Not very often I put those two words in the same sentence but it happened at Beefsteak. Cool concept where they boil your vegetables and add protein, rice/noodles and sauce. Kombucha on tap was great too!

::Good healthy options but my salad had way too much dressing which was way too sour. I also didnt get the toast or mozzarella that was advertised with the salad. My friends warm bowl was not good. The boiling method is not impressive, and the sweet potato slices sucked. The lemomade was good, and decor was good. Employees were friendly

::A nice place to grab a quick healthy bite! Their offerings are mostly vegetarian, a few vegan options, and a few meat options for the carnivores. Their concept is lots and lots of vegetables with whatever else you may want with them. I opted to do a custom warm veggie bowl. The lady helping me was knowledgeable in what was vegan and she was able to ask someone to double-check about things being gluten-free before she included them in my order. For the warm veggie bowl, you can pick four vegetables which they then blanch. While waiting for that, you pick a base (quinoa, rice, greens, or lentils), a base sauce (black bean, cilantro, spicy tomato, green curry, garlic yogurt), option for meat or a premium add-on (avocado, egg, mozzarella), fresh veggie toppings, a dressing, and a crunchy topping if you so desire. I would say that the portions of each item was pretty small, but you can have so many different items that they all add up to be a pretty substantial meal. I had no problem making my custom bowl vegan and gluten-free and it tasted DELICIOUS. Just a couple more vegan options would be nice, but I would absolutely come back and try a different combination of veggies!

::I was happy to discover a Beefsteak in Foggy Bottom. The restaurant combines eating healthy & decadence with luxurious vegetable ingredients, and amazing extras like salt-cured salmon and poached egg. I also love the juice blends, and they now have craft kombucha. It’s more than just salad, too, since you can get your veggies steamed in a bowl.
