  Wanted to visit a local place while we were on vacation. We walked in and seated ourselves as the sign said. We sat at a table with dishes from last customer. The waitress brought 4 menus and sat them on the table without saying a word. Walked off to another table, leaving the dishes. We left.

  I've been here several times before, but this time I stopped in for lunch after a job interview. It was a beautiful day and before I went for a walk in the Commons, I stopped in for some lunch. I got the Lobster Roll w/ French Fries. Lot of Lobster! Usually bars will have the Lobster that's ground up and mixed with a bunch of mayonnaise, but not this one! This was huge pieces of claw meat and lobster meat. I would usually complain about the little bit of lobster shell in the meat, but that authenticated that I was eating fresh lobster. Steak Fries, were plentiful as well. This place is also great for dates in town for people that are accessing the Green Line/Red Line and want to grab a drink and then walk around the Commons. This particular day I went, it was really nice to grab some lunch, a Yuengling, and then get to walk around after before heading home on the T. I've never ever had a problem with anything in this place, it's a good place to stop in before walking toward Fanueil Hall or to stay and catch a game with some friends. Bartenders are always friendly.

  Had to have a Sam Adams lager near where Sam Adams is actually buried. Staff was amazing. Food was great.

  Our waitress here, Madeline, was very inattentive. She forgot my water, but brought the person I was with their drink. She placed their drink down so quickly and walked away I didn't have time to mention my water. She never came back to check on us. I had to get her attention after some time had passed and ask for a water again. After this, she never came back to check on us again for a 10-15 min period. (We had wanted to order an appetizer and she never came back to ask if we were going to place an order). I had to get her attention to place our order. The pub wasn't especially busy on the day we were there either. Additionally, the chairs they have in the area by the window we were sitting at were extremely uncomfortable.

  I used to go there 1 a week but the security guy is trash. He have to know how to talk with a customer. I was there yesterday night around 1.15. I wanted to drink a beer after work. I just step in and said “good evening” with a smiling and the security guy said that “ we done tonight step out! rudely _” I’ll never go there again. I star only for the waitresses.
