  Great boutique Bar with the feeling of Europe in the big concrete jungle of NYC. Great place to meet a friend and relax while enjoying a drink in a very comfortable atmospheric. Great place for a private business meeting & a romantic place to meet your lover. Excellent service, clean bathrooms. An ideal place.

  A small, dark, quiet bar situated in the lobby of Plaza Athenee, I was reminded of an old joint that might have made an appearance on Mad Men. The high ceilings, old wooden bar and Old West objects in frames on the walls put me in the most sophisticated mood. The drinks are strong and the waiters keep the snacks (almonds, nuts, popcorn, crackers, etc) flowing. An expensive place and terrible place to go if you were wanting something more up beat or younger, but well worth it if you wanted to grab a few drinks with some friends or a date before you head out for the rest of the night, or better yet, a great place for a night cap.

  This hotel bar screams Upper East Side class. We love the martinis here.
