::After attending an event at The Beacon a friend sent us to The Baccarat for drinks & dinner. You're greeted by secret service looking security but they are all kind & make you feel safe. There was little bit of a wait but watching the head of security handle the Europeans, the "do you know who I am?" crowd & everyone in between in such a flawless, calm way- we decided to stay. We were brought upstairs & given a beautiful table then an unsolicited tour of the bar- it's stunning. The security guys took care of us from the second we walked into until we left with our driver & nobody took money. I went from people watching to being watched. Loved it!!

::Actually this has been my post purchase (choice) dissonance: fancy bar and restaurant on the upper floor with crowd, prices, gatekeepers etc. but they have thrown a ketchup on us and mixed my jacket with someone's else. The ketchup: they said "sorry" like it is enough - you would expect something more engaged from such bar, wouldn't you? Lady who lost my jacket has accused me of switching numbers with someone. Seriously!? Say whaaat? (Despite above: food and cocktails are worth their prices. Nevertheless it would not drag me here again)

::Love their pancakes. Love love love the decor. My boss took me there for my birthday. She just knew I would enjoy the experience. It was not overly expensive either.
