  Walked into the bank at 2:35 being that it’s a block from where I work. Wasn’t greeted when I walked in. There was only one customer there and from what I saw 6-7 employees. Everyone looked like someone died. Lady at the front desk very rudely ask can I help you. I said I’d like to cash a check and open up an account. Then she said I’ll be right with you. Then another lady that was sitting at her desk ran up and ask can I help you and I said I’d like to open up and account (she already knew that though being that I just said it within ear shot distance). She told me that I can’t because they were with minutes of closing. She was technically correct they closed in 25 minutes. I ask if I could cash a check and she said no not without and account. I looked around and wondered why with 5 more employees just standing around they could just open on account. Hoping she’d change her mind I said you sure you don’t want a new customer. She stared at me very pissed off and said nothing then a man in the area behind called her and she went over. She then came back and said hold on I need to get premision. She called me in her cubicle a minute later and said she needs my id and the money (100 dollars) to open up an account. I said I had a check that I’d like to cash and put the amount need to open up an account. I was told that they couldn’t cash my check and could only hold it since it was a new account till it cleared. It was over the amount need to open an account. I then decided to just go to a bank that’s willing to be a little more helpful and friendly.
