A gem in this neighborhood. Deliciously crafted artisan treats sprawled across the display case. Cookies, muffins, scones, baguette sandwiches in an ever-changing line up. You’ll never run out of tasty things to try.

This is a Portland staple. You'll find bakes from this crew all over town, but come see the action and the full spread here!! Please, PLEASE, try the Sweet and Salty cookie, the Banana Chocolate Muffin, the Almond Croissant.....ok, try it all!!!

We tried the nutella puff and cheese twist. Both were excellent. The nutella puffs are made with croissant dough, which was light and flaky. The nutella filling was not too sweet. The cheese twist was crunchy and a little spicy. There is a small area to dine in, a counter at the front window with 4 stools. Limited hours, so check their website. No public restroom.

Beautiful seasonal offerings featuring whole grains and if you’re around during strawberry season, get the Strawberry Barley scone (you won’t regret it!)

Bakeshop is the kind of shop you are likely to find around Manhattan and San Francisco, the best in their category. Every product they sell tastes like they have tried and perfected them before putting them up for sale. Bakes are original while still familiar. If a description promises maple then you will taste maple. Kim Boyce should be very proud for what she created. With so many pasty shops in Portland it's hard to be original and the best, but they did it. Some of my all time favorites are maple scone, seasonal hand pies, almond croissant, wonder bun, parisian fruit puff. And I look forward to try many more. Service is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for this!
