  I've enjoyed the venue since the very beginning up until my visit there last week. It was one of the coldest Tuesday's here in a couple of years.Standing out side with a couple of friends waiting for the venue to open. Two people approached the Bar and entered and was seated with no problem from the manager. As me and my friend entered the Bar we were quickly told to leave until the venue opened at 5PM to which we agreed too. After ordering my spirits I approached the manager to question her on why she would let a couple of people in prior to opening time and to not to all or others. She denied all facts of what had happened and then looked me in the face and said this conversation is over, you can go grab a seat or GET OUT!! All of this in full view of those who knew the she was not truthful of what had transpired just 10-15 minutes ago. I will continue to support PGH Jazz and those venues that provide places where the public can go to enjoy it, but I will not support those who think that they (Backstage Bar Manager) are bigger than what they are presenting.

  Fantastic selection of local jazz. Attentive service.
